OCCA MISSION STATEMENT
To promote and represent businesses in Old Colorado City, to preserve this historic value of the area, and to encourage growth and participation within the organization.
Membership is open to any person/group conducting business from a location within the following boundaries:
West Colorado Avenue, from I-25 to the Colorado Springs city limits (about 39th St.)
From West Uintah Avenue to Cimarron/Hwy 24.
OCCA is a member-based, 501 C 6 nonprofit organization that supports development, stimulates business and economic growth, and advocates for improvements that enhance Old Colorado City’s quality of life. We represent a variety of business sectors including arcades, banking, beauty salons and barber shops, boutiques, breweries, pubs and speakeasies, coffee shops, financial planning, galleries, gift shops, insurance, libraries and museums, live performances, outdoor adventures, real estate, restaurants, tattoo parlors – just to name a few.
As a member, you will have the opportunity to network and connect with the business community and receive unique access to information on the latest projects and developments taking place in Old Colorado City. You will also receive unparalleled access to benefits, promotional tools, networking opportunities and personal assistance to help your business thrive.

MEMBERSHIP PERKS
Dedicated Business Page on shopoldcoloradocity.com. Our website is the #1 source of information for visitors to Old Colorado City. Your business page will include your name, address, phone number, business profile, website, social media links, and a photo gallery of your business.
Members Only Portal. You can update your listing, manage your membership, upload photos, create special offers, and pay invoices.
Event Calendar. Grand openings, live performances, artist demonstrations, dining events, new fashions, special offers, classes, and more. Content from this event page is also used in email promotions.
Email Newsletter. Weekly updates on Old Colorado City happenings, events, and other information important to your business and our community.
Email Marketing. Each week, OCCA reaches out to over 6,500 email subscribers featuring our member businesses and events. Throughout the year, we invite our members to submit specific content for business spotlights.
Social Media Promotion. With over 60k+ fans on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, the OCCA platform offers an expanded audience to boost your business. Our member business spotlights on our Facebook page, along with tags and story shares on Instagram ensure that your business will be promoted to thousands of followers.
Large Community Events: OCCA events attract more than 100,000 people to our neighborhood annually. These include First Friday Art Walk, Territory Days, OCC in Bloom, Aspens on the Avenue, Pumpkins in the Park, Christmas Stroll and Santa’s Cabin.
Smaller Events and Campaigns: OCCA also hosts smaller events and campaigns throughout the year, such as Sidewalk Sales, Customer Appreciation Day, Love Local, Small Business Saturday, and more.
Sponsorship Opportunities. OCCA Members are eligible for special sponsorship and promotional opportunities at our events and campaigns. We’ll work with you to find the right audience to fit your marketing needs.
Printed Promotions. We produce walking maps, brochures, posters, banners, and other print materials each year. All OCCA member businesses are featured on our annual tourism brochure and walking map. Participating businesses and sponsors are featured on additional print materials.
Advertising Opportunities. Throughout the year OCCA offers co-op advertising opportunities to its members allowing you to place ads in top-rated magazines, websites and on specialized print materials at discounted prices.
Advertising: OCCA invests in special advertisements each year designs to bring visitors to Old Colorado City. These include, but are not limited to Colorado Fun Guide, Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, Broadmoor Magazine, as well as radio, television, internet and social media ads. As a premiere location on Pikes Peak Regional Attractions, OCCA ensures exposure on their website, videos and blogs, as well as to their 85K Facebook fans.
We Give Your Business a Voice. OCCA collectively presents our businesses to the powers that be in the Pikes Peak Region. We speak for you on several boards and panels to heighten awareness for our special community.
