October featured artist, Noor Adwan

Noor is a Palestinian-American painter from Minneapolis. Her work is often centered around the reclamation of broken or abandoned objects: thrifted housewares, broken instruments, and shattered glass are just a handful of the surfaces upon which you may see her work. Her paintings themselves typically celebrate natural abundance and beauty, inviting viewers to cherish with her the little things that make the outdoor world so enchanting: a troupe of bees pollinating a flower, perhaps, or the way sunlight reflects off a fruit-studded tree.  We will also have live music featuring local musician, Evan Johnson and Friends.
