Oddball Store Music and More Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Oddball Store Music and More, located at 2413 W. Colorado

Ave. in the heart of Old Colorado City, will celebrate its third anniversary on Wednesday, August

12, 2026. The milestone marks three years of the shop serving musicians, collectors, and oddball

lovers throughout Colorado Springs and the surrounding region — and this year, the celebration

comes with a treasure hunt of its own.

Since opening its doors in 2023, Oddball Store Music and More has become a destination for

everything Oddball in Old Colorado City, known for its unique selection and welcoming

atmosphere. The anniversary celebration will bring together the community that has supported

the store since its founding.

To mark the occasion, Oddball Store will give every visitor a free anniversary gift on August 12,

while supplies last. Visitors will get to choose from three oddball treasures: a USA flag necklace,

a novelty poker money clip/watch, or a $1,000,000 Betty Boop note — a playful nod to the same

spirit of surprise and discovery that fills every shelf in the store.

Just Dance' night is where we turn Mush Love, Tee - Your Local Mushroom Shop, into 'Club Tee.' Playing the best EDM dance beats of the 90s, 00's, and today!

I read an article that young people don't go to the clubs and dance these days because everyone is recording everything. I get that, But being a GEN X'er whose generation started the rave and EDM club scene in the early 90s, it makes me very sad. I was on the dance floor at 16 in Deep Ellum Dallas, Aqua Lounge, dancing the night away. Those dance nights were everything.

Dancing heals. Dancing soothes. Let us be your safe space where you can dance the night away - because no one is recording, just like the good ol days.  💃🕺

Free! Ages 18+. No alcohol. If you really want a drink we are right next door to Alchemy Irish Pub, where the boys will hook you up with a stiff drink. 🍸 Then come back and dance, dance, dance.

No outside food or drinks. We have snacks, drinks, and mocktails available for purchase. ☕️🍵🧉

Hike and Learn

Hike & Learn — Foraging Basics in the Rocky Mountains

Learn the foundations of foraging as we explore mushrooms, wild herbs, and edible plants that grow naturally in the Rocky Mountains. Our hike takes place within ten minutes of the Mush Love, Tee shop. To protect the land and keep our groups small, the exact location will be shared after registration.

Join Tee for a guided walk through mountain terrain she’s wandered since childhood — sometimes solo, often alongside her grandmother, who taught her the names, uses, and stories behind the wild herbs of our region. This hike is part education, part connection, and part honoring the land that raised us.

A "know before you go" e-mail will be sent to all registered attendees two days prior to the hike with exact meeting point, what to bring, weather notes, and any last minute details.

Until then, you should plan to bring water, good shoes, and whatever helps you feel ccmfortable on the trail. This is an easy, welcoming hike - perfect for beginners and curious wanderers. $20 pp.
